Hi,

I am looking for a way to replicate a 'Rule' in Outlook 2007 ~3,000+ times with a new 'domain' in each rule.

Is there a way to open up the 'Rule' file and paste text for the rules instead of pointing and clicking 3,000+ new rules?

Also, along the same lines, is there a back door for creating multiple folders or new PST files that I could use in place of creating 1 at a time through the 'File' menu?

Thanks very much!

I found a way to rename multiple files using the DOS rename command and a .bat file.

I am still hoping to learn the backdoor way into Outlook in order to name folders and update 'Rules'. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks very much.

There is no way outlook will run +3000 rules and run with any kind of efficiency.

You need to have a lot fewer rules and a better filter.

I suggest google may help.
