MCI resize video

How can I resize an AVI/MPEG compressed video?
Im using mciSendCommand to open, to define a window for it and to play it

the video is correctly located on the left top corner of the window I defined but it overcomes its height and width

If I use the MCI_PUT command with the flags MCI_DGV_PUT_DESTINATION and MCI_DGV_RECT the video does not plays, it shows a black screen instead.:mad:

How can I make it fit the window size correctly? :confused:

Does anybody knows the solution to this? Any tips?
