I'm not able to configure my website using ASP.Net Web Site Administration Tool.

Am getting an error report:
There is a problem with your selected data store. This can be caused by an invalid server name or credentials, or by insufficient permission. It can also be caused by the role manager feature not being enabled. Click the button below to be redirected to a page where you can choose a new data store.

The following message may help in diagnosing the problem: Unable to connect to SQL Server database.

I tried doing like this but it is not working.

Pls help...............

Doesn't sound like a known error. You are doing something wrong or missing some part. Try steps asked one by one... like:
1. Server Name .. then
2. credentials.. then
3. permissions ...

Correct sql server db ...
