how to print code 128 barcode

I want to print barcode using code 128.
For Free 3 of 9 and barcode 39 i use * as start and stop character
e.g. to create barcode of 12345 i use *12345* but how to print code 128 barcode ??
i am printing from notepad only.

You can use one of the many free barcode fonts that Google will find for you.

I want compress one, so i think code 128 is best for that

It makes sense if he knows about Code 39 and assumes Code 128 would work in a similar way.

Code 128 doesn't work like Code 39. It doesn't have just one but three different start codes, depending on the desired character set (Code 128A, 128B, 128C). It has a mandatory checksum character, so you can't ad-hoc type it manually like Code 39. So a generator-software is pretty much required.
