I'm not able to paste any css templates in theme folder of my asp.net website. what can be the reason behind this and possible solution to this problem?

I've downloaded a free css template but when I try to paste it in the theme folder or any other folder that I create, there is no paste option shown. What can be the possible reason for this problem?

What I have tried:

I've tried downloading different themes and templates from a number of websites, but the problem remains intact.
I have created other folders and tried pasting the template in these bbut the paste option does not appear.

Right click and choose to add existing item.

What are you using to browse to the location?
If you are using Windows Explorer - check folder permissions
If you are using the Solution Explorer in Visual Studio - see RyanDev's comment
If you are using IIS Manager - you need to browse via Windows Explorer
