Hi all,

I have a problem on client kiosk. On my laptop, when the program is run, a greeting's video will appear and play (if file is exist on App_Startup).

Currently on client's kiosk, the video is exist but media is not play instead on MediaOpened, it goes to MediaFailed with exception "Media file download failed".

I have search some of the thread in forum which suggesting to check on display driver and codec for other types of WMP can play. Every driver and codec is installed but media still not play with exception as mention before.

Anyone have idea on how this happen and how to cater this problem?

What I have tried:

Try to reinstall graphic display and also wmp codec pack. Same result

Are you trying to download it to a protected folder?

Hi Chill,

THe video file is not downloading from any network. It was placed in the same main folder as program executable e.g. /debug/video/video1.mov

By the way since u mention protected folder, if the drive is running on C:\ partition only and the executable folder is place on the desktop, is it consider as protected too?
