What to use directory searcher or principle context to find user in active directory ?

i'm trying to Get user From active directory. And I want to use efficient Searcher to do the task, So to attain good performance what should i use Principle Context or Directory Searcher ??

What I have tried:

I've used both searcher but unable to Find the best one , have been crawling through different sites no result found :(
