I am using Flexcode sdk. I don't know how to save the images location (imgpath as in the code) as bitmap. Once save, i wishes to assign it to the picturebox. Can i know how can i save the image path location to bitmap and then assigns it(bitmap) to picturebox

private void FormAttendance_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
        verStudentFingerprint.PictureSampleHeight = (short)(pictureBoxAttendanceVerification.Height * 15); //FlexCodeSDK use Twips. 1 pixel = 15 twips
        verStudentFingerprint.PictureSampleWidth = (short)(pictureBoxAttendanceVerification.Width * 15); //FlexCodeSDK use Twips. 1 pixel = 15 twips
        imgPath = AppDomain.CurrentDomain.BaseDirectory + "Finger3.bmp";
        verStudentFingerprint.PictureSamplePath = imgPath;

    void ver_FPVerificationImage()
        if (imgPath == AppDomain.CurrentDomain.BaseDirectory + "Finger3.bmp")
            imgPath = AppDomain.CurrentDomain.BaseDirectory + "Finger5.bmp";
            imgPath = AppDomain.CurrentDomain.BaseDirectory + "Finger3.bmp";
        verStudentFingerprint.PictureSamplePath = imgPath;

What I have tried:

I tired below

Bitmap bitmap = new Bitmap(pictureBoxAttendanceVerification.Image);

            pictureBoxAttendanceVerification.Image = bitmap;

but getting an error

Errors are to help you diagnose and fix the problem, if you don't say what the error is no-one can help.

How much longer we have to see it? PictureBox is not an image and not a picture.
And how this image could be helpful? Your library probably already provide fingerprint matching...
Is it just for decorative purposes, to show what fingerprint was taken?

yup it done already. i want dipose the momeory if i put picturebox dipose the entire picture box dispose as i have two verification of fingerprint so i want dispose it temporary and the get back. so i plan save to bitmai then dispose bitmap instead of picturebox after perfomrm other verification continue back to this verification that was dispose earlier

Uhhhh I hate to tell you this but saving an image of a fingerprint for later verification does you no good. You're not going to get a match unless the next scan of the finger print is exactly oriented the way the enrollment image was saved. By that, I mean your next print image has to be placed EXACTLY in the same place and at the EXACT same angle and with the EXACT same pressure on the scanner as the enrollment image.

I suggest you do some research on how fingerprints are recorded and compared. It's not by saving bitmap images.
