If you are using ClickOnce deployment[^] you can set these up as prerequisits and have them install before your app does. It isn't completely silent but it only displays a single screen per needed prereq that asks for a user agreement and then installs all prerqs in one go. So it isn't a whole lot of clicks for the user installing it.
