Creating merged cells in open office XML using C#

I have to implement the cell merge and row merge in excel file. In xls file we have option to pass the count of cells to be merged using MergeAcreoos and Mergedown properties of cell. How can i implement the same in xlsx format using openoffice xml.

What I have tried:

Tried and referd google but i answer is came oit
