error while configuring an asp applicATION IN IIS

It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level.  This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS. (E:\eCatalog\ecatalogweb\web.config line 103)

you need to make your directory as VIRTUAL DIRECTORY.. rght click on folder to make it virtual directory.
