[C++] exporting ofstream results as a .ZIP file

I have a program which takes user input, puts it in a certain format, then outputs it into files of different formats in a set hierarchy. I want the program to be able to zip the folders in a ready-to-use package. How would I achieve this?

What I have tried:

I have looked all over the internet, but no result.

Use the command line tool for compressing your written files.
