Windows Mobile Comunication With Server

Hi,
Is there any way to me to use Remoting Server on Windows Mobile (.net compact framework).
For what i understand, there is no System.Runtime.Remoting namespace on .net compact framework, but there must be a way for the PDA to communicate with a server application like Named Pipes or something. Can you help-me with that?

You can always use web services. Does it not fit into your requirements?

HI, thanks for the replay. The problem is that a want to se in my PDA some events that i dont know when they are going to happen. So, i don't know when to call the webservice, and i dont want to call it all the time. My Idea is to have some kind of Listening device that shoot's information on the PDA screen whenever it listens to something. Have any ideas?
