Seems I fail to save and exit nano. How to?

Thanks in advance

What I have tried:

I understand nano is a file editor and that I've edited a file but I don't understand how to save the file and exit nano?

Have a look on your screen.

Nano displays a menu section at the bottom.
The upper left-most item is ^G - Help and the lower one is ^X - Exit. There is also ^O - Save.

This is a common syntax where the ^ character indicates the control key which has to be pressed together with the folling character key.

To exit nano, press Ctrl+X. If the file has been modified, you will be prompted for saving like with any other text editor.
Learn how to make use of the man command: nano(1) - Linux man page[^].
