Converting web site to wep application in ASP.NET VS2013

I have a scenario that i have a website which is using both C# and vb language.Now i need to convert this website into web application.How can i do this?

What I have tried:

i have tried converting but vb files are not converting

You'll probably need to re-create the site from scratch. Just create a web application and create the files you need in the right locations and copy over any code you're able to from the other site. You'll should pick one language though and stick with it and convert code as needed. The fact that the project is a website and has a mix of languages shows whoever made it has made two poor choices from the offset so I doubt the quality of the site is very high. You'd probably be better re-writing the whole thing from scratch.

If I have two web app ,will it decrease the performance

That needs to be checked :), may be you can try it out after applying this solution for any one functionality?
