I have a website that I host in CPanel via GoDaddy. I made a simple table using HTML, which I would edit directly in CPanel's HTML editor.

One day, the last 2/3 or so of the log (the last 200-ish cells) disappeared, and a '%' sign appeared at the top of the table. I input all the erased data again, but then the next morning, a '%3' appeared at the top of the table.

You can see an example of what's left of the table and the % sign here:http://okcook.co/thethingsiown2.html

Sounds like this is a problem with the CPanel hosting, but, does anyone know why this happened?

What I have tried:

Contacting CPanel/GoDaddy, posting to other support websites

I don't think anyone can really help you with this as there are many things that none of us has access to. This includes your code, your servers, your hosting companies servers along with no knowledge of how any of this is set up.

Your best bet is to keep pursuing this issue with your hosting/support providers. I've never heard of something just appending a seemingly arbitrary string to the top of a table.

One idea is that if it is a ton of data, try paginating it instead of trying to display all of it all at once. Meaning, if you've got 2,000 records, rig up your UI to only show 20 records at a time and implement pagination to show pages 1 through 100.

You can try to remove those 3 paragraph tags and hr tag appearing before table.
