Occasionally people ask a question which I'm happy to answer, but don't see until I visit CodeProject, which is relatively rare.

What I have tried:

I've checked the boxes for all 3 types of notification emails in "Your CodeProject Settings" and checked my spam folder to be sure the messages are not being "eaten" there so I'd be grateful for any hints or debug suggestions.

You might get better feedback by directing this to the site bugs/suggestion forum https://www.codeproject.com/suggestions.aspx

If your Email address have not been confirmed, you will not receive notification. Each Email confirmation only last a limited amount of time, regular confirmation is needed.

In any case, whatever is your setting, you will have a notification on top of page near your member name.

Actually it looks like someone asked the same question you did today. See this thread.

no email is being sent on replies [^]

Basically, if you don't log in every 7 months they assume you've abandonded your account and don't want any emails. Looks to be by design and they don't want to bother you with spam since they assume no activity for that long of period of time means you are no longer interested in codeproject.

But feel free to direct this over to Bugs and Suggestions[^] as you may get better answers there.
