Can't able to maximize the Div by using a expansion button click

What I have tried:

I have a div,have div id "dvOuterMsgBox" and has style class ".dvEdit" .
Default loading style is ".dvEdit".
I add another style class for expanding the same div by hiding the old style class named ".dvMaximize" .
I called this two style classes in my Div is ::
<div id="dvOuterMsgBox" class="dvEdit dvMaximize" runat="server" style="display: none;">

and my Jquery for expanding the Div is ::
$(document).ready(function () {
    debugger;
    $("[id$=imgbtnMaximize]").click(function () {
        $(".dvEdit").hide();
        if ($("[id$=dvOuterMsgBox]").hasClass("dvMaximize")) {
            $(".dvMaximize").show();
        }
    });
});

This will only call the first style class and hide it but can't call the second style class.. How to solve it?? Anybody help me..

Solution 1

Got the answer, by replacing the first class with second class.
Thanks Everybody
