I have not received the email confirmation.

On the tool bar is there a place to click to check the email address and password, change the password?

It is not obvious because there is no Subcriber Service.

For signing up double entry should be used for email address and password to check for errors.

Email confirmation for what? Your webmail provider? Or for your CodeProject login?

I assume you are referring to the CodeProject emails?
If so, then the server farm was moved at the weekend, and some of the hamsters dropped a few on route, but hid the evidence and Chris didn't find out until later.

The upshot was that emails are a bit dubious at the moment - they are being fixed though. Have a look at the Site Bugs/Suggestions forum and you will see comments on this.[^]

Your second point should perhaps be raised there too.
