So after i updated my windows in 18/6/18, all of my existing visual studio projects stopped working. I tried to start a new one (C# command prompt) but it gave the error "Sequence contains no elements" i tried restarting my laptop, everything i could think of other than reinstall which i am planning to do so.

How can i fix this issue

What I have tried:

Restarting, googling, deleating all of my projects.

Can you start Visual Studio on its own with no selected project?

Have you tried rebuilding a project to see if that is the issue.

Try to run VS with admin privileges (right click on the VS icon -> Run As Admin...). If it won't help, repair (or reinstall) VS.
