My problem is not related to c++ but for creating setup.
I want to create one setup and execute it after installation.
What i do is :
1) Add the dll and exe in File System
2) Open custom actions (View -> Editor ->Custom Actions)and at install folder i add the dll and exe of my project.
3)At dll property i.e. "EntryPoint", i add the function that i want to execute as a entry point. but an error message occur when installing the setup the error message appear
The installer was interrupted before setup is installed. You need to restart the installer to try again later.

Thanks in advance.

Hi What installer technology are you attempting to use?
If basic MSI, then try turning on logging when attempting to run your installer. Use msiexec -i yourfilename.msi -lvx* log.log
Where you replace yourfilename.msi with name of the .msi you have created. Then check log.log in your current directory which will full trace information about your installation error.
I'm not really clear on what you want to achieve by setting the dll property? Are you trying to use it as a custom MSI action, or trying to run your application at the end of the setup?
