Hi, I'm new to code project and c# and i require a bit of help. You see, I've heard that a certain member of this page called '@OriginalGriff' has been banning random members and commenting spiteful and extremely hurtful messages on perfectly innocent posts - my son spent 3 hours crying after reading one of these hateful messages and I am truly disgusted that a member with such high authority is allowed to simply do such ghastly things online and receive no consequence. I hope action is taken towards this, and if I am banned from this, it shows the true injustice of this page.

Just btw, how would i link a database to a login page in c#, an honest reply would be much appreciated xox

What I have tried:

I cannot find a report button anywhere.

Well you have updated your question but you have still not provided the evidence.

Perhaps if you gave examples of my "spiteful and extremely hurtful messages" I could respond better - I don't see anything in my recent messages that fits the description (though I may be biased since I wrote them). The message list is public, as are all the messages, so if you could point me at what I've done it would help me avoid it in future.

I'm extremely sorry for the trouble i have caused. Turns out my son has been lying to me, but don't worry I've dealt with him. && how much do you earn, would love to start a business like yours in future, or go under your employment.

Kind Regards,

Kids do that from time to time - no harm done!

BTW: CodeProject is not mine - it belongs to a number of Oztro-Canadians - I am just a member, same as you. You have no idea what I do for a living!

I always thought your main job was cat fighting.

I try to avoid it - he has more sharp bits that I do. I suspect he is also faster and stronger, depressingly...

Solution 2

Well firstly you have posted this in the technical questions forum, instead of the Site Bugs and Suggestions, so the administrators see it. Secondly, you have hidden behind a pseudonym so we do not have any idea who or where you are. Thirdly we have no idea what messages you are referring to. And finally, I have known and worked (here)with OriginalGriff for many years, and can assure you he does not post hurtful or spiteful messages.

Perhaps if you provide some proper details of your problem we can investigate.

We might be talking about different people, or possibly even talking about someone acting as this member. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I would appreciate it if you researched further into a fake account of sorts. Also, a response to my coding question would be fantastic!

Given your starting point here, I don't think many people are going to rush to answer your question. May I suggest you delete this, read Code Project Quick Answers FAQ[^], and then post a proper technical question.

I suppose you have a good point, you may aswell remove me from your website as i am clearly not appreciated here.

You appear to have joined the site simply to post unfounded accusations against one of the most friendly and well-respected members of this site.

Within that accusation, you've buried a "technical question" that's far too broad to be answered. The only possible answer would be to tell you to ask Google, or point you to the numerous tutorials that Google will find.

Another well-respected member has advised you to delete your inflammatory post, and post your technical question on its own, with sufficient detail for us to help you. Your response is to complain that you are "not appreciated here".

I suggest your step away from your computer, and go and do something relaxing for a while. Once you've calmed down, and are ready to participate in this community, then come back and ask your question.

Everyone is appreciated here if they follow a simple protocol: Be polite. You jumped straight in by accusing and maligning someone who you have never met, with no evidence whatsoever, and you wonder why people are not keen to help you.
