What I have tried:

There are mismatching brackets and you appear to be trying to assign a value to a calculation. How about sharing this code in context?

I cannot figure this out!!!!
I've changed every bracket. still not working.

Why do you think that would make a difference? Look at the diagram I drew for you above. It shows all the brackets, braces and parentheses* that have no matching closer or opener. So you need to add the missing elements, and change any that are the wrong type.

*Brackets are [ and ]
Braces are { and }
Parentheses are ( and )
they must all be in matching pairs to make an expression valid.
