CultureInfo to get African countries in dropdown

Hi,

Can anyone has a solution for the problem i am having .

I am using the CultureInfo class to get the countries list in a dropdownlist

But i am missing some countries.I am in south africa , so i need all the country names in africa to be in my dropdown list.

Please some one help me to how to get all the countries or how to get the main countries and with the list of african countries.

CultureInfo won't be too helpful as it really centres around languages and doesn't store continent information(I'm not sure it could: ru-RU
Russian spans Europe and Asia for example, as does Turkish ).

The only thing I can suggest is to create a list of cultures that are African. The List of cultures can be found here:MSDN CultureInfo[^]. African countries seem to be poorly served: Afrikaans, English(SA & Zimbabwe) and North african Arabic seem to be the only options.

Compile the list yourself. May I suggest Wikipedia?
