under the circumstance of MFC ,I want to accomplish a function ,which is if the left button of mouse enter the Edit BOX a set of characters occuring besides the Edit Box

That's a non-standard use of the left mouse button, and should be avoided. If it were me, I'd provide a button that the user could click, or a context menu for the edit ccontrol that allows themm to paste the text.

@Jokcy: What John offered you was advice how to do it better and not an implementation of what you had in mind. Besides that I agree with John on this. Redefining the semantic of a mouse button will be counterintuitive for the user experience. (I'll 5 that!)
