How to display data on Text Field

Hi All

I am new to C# & in the learning stage, any one would help

1). How to display the Data filed(Textbox, combo box or even in the grid) on the Front End C# from the Back end (Sql2005)

2). How to Update the Backend (Sql2005) from front End (C#) code based on the Criteria.
