I am developing a chat application in C# 3.5 Desktop application. I want to develop some Buzz Functionality like in Yahoo Messenger.

Please help me.

I looked at buzz.yahoo.com and could not figure right away what that buzz functionality you mentioned is all about. So if you want any kind of help from us you will have to provide the nescessary details.

Well, if you have implemented the *chat* functionality where one types in chat on one system and other recieves it on other system then I am not sure what is stopping you from buzz feature.

All, you need is to have a kind of some shortcut/code/signal that needs to be pass on to your codebase that signifies that a BUZZ was done. Like if a particular key is pressed then assume its a buzz and accordingly instead of transferring text from one window to other, raise a mp3/wav or any audio file to replicate buzz feature.

Thus, button click, event raised, a wav file on both windows. What say? Try!
