i want to create desktop application in c# to send text Message from pc to any kind of mobile and any where free(no cost)
can you guys share with me your idea or resource. please help me
thanks from code project and all others helper.

Solution 1

Every smartphone I know of has the ability to setup and use email accounts. So send an email to the persons account and let them retrieve it.

There is no push technology available to send an email to a phone without the users consent and interaction.

Create a gmail account, and use it to send mail...
Or am I missing something.

@Mark... WTH!!! My answer has NOTHING to do with google voice. I think you misread my answer. My answer related to his "send email" question in which case taking advantage of the gmail smtp is a simple and free solution. I think you meant to downvote and message cechode's answer...

You also don't need a gmail account to send email, you can use any smtp service

5+ You may not need a gmail account, but it's free, and it's an easy doable solution. That there are other ways to do things (and potentially more that could be said about a poorly formulated question), doesn't make this a bad answer :)

i use google voice.
i created an account with google voice.
used the .net library on codeplex to interact with GV.
works like a charm ( has not failed once )

google voice is working only in uk not working in india.this is a problem
