please give me or suggest me the detail code for pattern matching module in vb.net...
you must be wondering whats this pattern matching module..
-i want to develop an application in which i would like to creat a small databse or lower case-uppercase letter,symbols,numbers which are paresents on key board...n want a separate window where i can write any letter with the movement of mouse or laptop sensor or any pointing device...n that letter should be search on that databse in return the same as the result of nearly matched character..
this application will work like we text in any touch screen mobile phone with pointing stick..
please please help me out iam in big trouble n even dont know how to execute a program in vb.net...as it would be my first program or application...

I know several interesting works, but I should warn you: they are all in C#.

You can still write in VB.NET, but to get any help on serious topics like that or find good .NET samples your chances to find something in VB.NET are really low, so you really want to be able to at least read and compile C# code, anyway.

starting out writing an OCR package as your first application might be a bit ambitious, but good luck :)

It can be a bit too ambitious even for a derived work from those referenced works.
