Can anyone please suggest me a good book on Design and Analysis of Algorithms. I haven't yet read any book which is dedicated to just algorithms.

Solution 1

There is an interesting PDF Algorithms
Department of Computer Science
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

Which may not be exactly what you are looking for, but the price is attractive (free). :)

I'm trying to find the correct link, in the mean time, have a browse here[^].

I'll get back to you.

[Edit -2]
I've fixed the link (I hope).

There are lots of nice links on that page, but the one I meant is the first one under the 'Everything' sub heading.

Thank you, Henry. I tool a look at the book you suggested. Well, despite its somewhat wordy style, it's good to have, a lot of interesting stuff (as I could see from the first glance, well FFT which was needed for one of the recent CodeProject Questions :-), for certain student's level could be quite useful reading, I guess.
My 5 for the reference and effort.
