hi friends i want to ask u all a question abt interrupts in c.......please if any one know about it....give me the answer soon...
if interrupts dont work under windows then how can we interact with hardware in c programming under windows os.
i m using turbo c 3.0 in windows XP and want to interact with hardware devices.

They work, but only at the kernel level. There's no such thing in user code.

This is correct, my 5.
The Question shows a big confusion. Such Questions sometimes come from people who worked with real-mode (DOS or something), usually long time ago. Best way to really help is asking OP: what exactly hardware devices? What API do you have, otherwise it would be just a waste of time.
