Crystal Report Seagate ActiveX Viewer

Hi,
I have problem using Seagate ActiveX viewer, can any help me out. Actually, the activeX viewer is loaded into the browser but data is not displayed in it. Just found this error in event log. "Unexpected error. A trappable error (E0434F4D) occurred in an external object. The script cannot continue running.."
Anyone please let me know what is causing this issue. My application is in classic ASP, having some ASP.Net pages and I am running it in VS 2003. I have also installed Crystal Report 10 but it doesn't help. I am providing support to this application, just get the code from a client.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

Solution 1

This error can be related to .Net framework installation. Ensure that you have the necessary framework installed (depending on the crystal version. Seems that it can also be a license proble. See: http://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1432535[^]

Hi Mika,

Thanks for replying. I have .Net framework 1.1 installed which is installed with VS 2003, also I have crystal 10 developer edition installed on my PC, both softwares are registered.

Still having problems? If yes, I'd suggest that you would also post a question on SAP's forum since they are monitored by their technical staff.
