Dear All,

I have a requirement of dynamic report generation using vb.net/c# with progress database.

Currently end user are able to connect the database via MS excel using odbc connection and select required tables and columns and design in excel and generate report.

we want a simple interface for:

1. User can select table dynamically and drag and drop columns in design area of dynamic report writer.
2. User can re-arrange the fields in the report as per his requirement and generate report.
3. User can save the current design format and latter if he want he can use the format or can design anoher format.
4. Flexible,dynamic and easy to use interface.

Question : I am using vs 2005 and vb.net and c# dot net frameword 2.0.
1. What are the technology I should use to achieve the above requirement?
2. If and code or resource which can follow to develop?

I will be thankful if anybody help me to figure out of this.
