Hello All,

I am facing some problem in sql server transactional replication. I am getting the message "The process could not connect to the subscriber servername\instance name " The operating systen and sql server details below.

1.I am using sql server 2005 standard edition on both servers.
2.The operating system is windows 2003 server
3.SQL server listning port number 1433 and the port is bidirectional opened in firewall
4. Sebscriber server is remote server and I am able to connect the instance from primary (distributor) server on both side
5. I am able to do the DTS.
6. I have tried pull and push subscription
7. There is no error messages during configuration.
8. Primary server is on workgroup and secondry server is having domain.
9. I can access the both servers by ip address and name.


Can anyone assist me where I am doing wrong. I thinks there is some windows related authentication issue which I am not able to trace any help would be higly appriciated.
