Hello All,

I have a web site in Asp.net.

I want to add blog section into this.

any one have you any idea how can i proceed.

do i need to register in word press and pay to them.

I am not clear on what you are trying here. You say you have your own website. If so, why you need a blog on some other domain? Use part of your website as a blog too!?

Hi,

As far as I know, the wordpress blogs are for free. You can just register at http://wordpress.com/[^].

But if you have a ASP.NET hosting, why you don't host the blog by yourself wit a blog-software like http://www.dotnetblogengine.net/[^]?
This way, you have all possibilities to adapt the blog to your needs.

Will user able to know that he is redirected to the other website or URL will be the same.
can you please suggest what steps i need to follow merging blog with my web site.
can i check this on my local host?

It depends on which solution you take ;)

If you realize your blog with blogengine.net, you can test it locally and deploy it to the live website (a sub-domain works perfectly, a sub-directory of your hosting should work too (perhaps it needs a virtual-directory for this)).
