How to show images in thumbnail in div ?

Hi All,
I have some images name which I have to show in a div on runtime using the appropriate path. I have to show those images in thumbnail view in a div. I have gone through net but there most of page seems to be suggested to go for third party control.

Please guide me is there any easy solution.
