Well as its educational related, how about developing a study/class timetable mobile app that also links in with Google Calendar services, thus providing a student with a central place and mobile timetable whether out and about or at the halls.

You could also extend this further, by allowing the student to also then link it to a server app, where they register there course modules, and it will automatically update the class dates and submission dates for papers/tutorials etc. and if the school/uni update anything it is automatically updated in the app.

That's just one idea!
