problem in playing wav files

i created a player that play pcm and wav files but the problem is that i can play some files and others not the strange is that they are of the same format and sample rate and every thing could any one tell me the difference that make some files work and other not

i think the question is clear i tried alot of methods to get all information about the both wav files(format , sample rate,bit rate,....)the both are identical but one of them can be played while the other not i ask if any one has experience in dealing with wav can guess where is the problem exactly.
for example compressed or uncompressed ,some thing like this

thank you xxxxxy any way i found the solution or the problem reason when i used a program to change the file bitrate it seems that this program changed the file format and hence it stop working so i used another program to change the bitrate and it works fine now.
the files that was working was those that was not need change in bitrate

i found the solution or the problem reason when i used a program to change the file bitrate it seems that this program changed the file format and hence it stop working so i used another program to change the bitrate and it works fine now.
the files that was working was those that was not need change in bitrate
the used program is cooledit
