My system is not getting connected to the secured wireless network however it is getting connected to unsecured networks. This thing is happening after I changed the operating system of my machine from win XP to win 7.

It's not code OP needs. It's the Network Setup Wizard (and remembering the passphrase).

Check what kind of encryption is set in the wireless router. Based on that when you need to configure while connecting that network. Only proving the correct passcode won't help if you are not selecting the right encryption method along with right password.

Just open the router home page and see the general settings, just before setting password there would be an option where you select the encryption type.

Possibly the drivers are compatible with win 7 for this you have to install the win 7 compatible driver. More detailed steps to overcome the issue can be found at the link:
