AFAIK, you cannot prevent a refresh, but what you can do is use the session object to detect if this is the first time or a refresh and if it is a refresh keep everything the same.

Thanks for your valuable information. But I don't think it can solve my issue.Because when I click the refresh button first time it will load the correct page but after that(within milliseconds) it is not loading my actual page.So inorder to solve this disable the refresh function and manually load the main page. Please reply..

Is "you cannot prevent a refresh" not enough for you? Why do you think your issue should be solved if it is not solvable?

Nagy gets my 5.
