creating a Search form in visual basic

I have created a form in VB which needs to search for data from an excel sheet, and display the corresponding entries in a list box, but cannot proceed with the design strategy, any help regarding this issue will be greatly appreciated.

I don't know what familiarity you have with using Excel from within VB. But the first is learning how to interact with Excel using VB. Here is a link to help you get started.

You can see that navigating the Excel object is very similar to VBA used within Excel.
