div width - auto size for firebox and Safari

Hi
I am developing a page in which it repeats the control for each row. I have added a one main div tag and inside this tag have added repeater control.Inside the repeater control, i am using another div tag(it contains link button). I have totally 4 rows. First 2 rows, i have to display 5 link button. 3rd row and 4th row contains 2 link button. So that if i provide floating left to the div tag, 4th row positioned in the 3rd row. This functionality is working fine in IE8. It is not working in Mozilla and Safari because of the div tag width is auto. Please anyone suggest how to achieve?

My design is
