Hi all,

Can anyone maybe send me in the right direction
where I can find an app that converts SQL database
to MS Access?

Any help would be appriciated..

Thanks, But not yet what I'm looking for. The tables is not the big problem all the stored procedures to convert over to queries?

Solution 1

>First make odbc connection to the sql server database
>Make a new Access database.
>Go to the tables tab and right click ,
selct import ->then ODBC database.
>select machine datasource
>follow simple steps
It on;ly works when You make an odbc connection to your SQL database. You can import all of your tables at once.

Solution 2

Sql Server Management Studio?

1) Right click the database name.
2) Select "Tasks...Export data"
3) Press "Next" until you reach the "Choose a Destination" screen.
4) Use the "Destination" drop down to select access.
5) Follow the instructions.

In the file you name in the "filename" TextBox perhaps? The one that appears on the "Choose a Destination" screen when you select access as the data destination?

Solution 3

Use SQL Server Integration Service and through that you can easily convert data from SQL Server to MS Access

you can convert SQL Server database to .mdb format by using SQL Server management studio using SQL Server Import and Export Wizard.
