which HID is default HID

developing .net based ink application. when i try to make out the HDI in my pc, it gives a list of six HDIs.two of them have same plug n play ID and device name, and four of them have same plug n play id and device name. they have no or minor difference in their properties and device capabilities. dont know how to select the one as default to get the desired information ( azimuthal angle and orientation angle of the pen) from the device.
