how to stop refreshing contents of master page in asp.net without iframe

See more:

I am using accordain control on master page when i click on accordain menu a list of options opens.
when i click one option a content page will open.but in accordian first header remains open.

means I dont want to refresh content of master page when navigating to other pages.
I tried google but mostly suggest iframe.
is it possible without iframe.

Please help me.
