make outlook 2007 compatible with outlook 2003 machine

Hello

I have built addin using outlook 2007 AddIn. But i want to execute this for outlook 2003 also. what are settings which i need to include in outlook 2007 project or do i need to build separate addin for outlook 2003?

Solution 1

Build your addin with Outlook 2003 and it will work on Outlook 2007.

so you are saying that outlook 2007 addin can't execute in outlook 2003 means we need to build separate addin for outlook 2003?

Build on 2003 and it will work on 2007

Try it on 2003 and see if it works, if you want to work on 2003 then you will have to test it on 2003 anyway so build on 2003 instead of 2007.
