I have created a folder for videos and in it I keep many videos like Educational, English/Hindi songs, funny videos but when I open this particular folder and then appear a blue screen, white letters and system automatically restart immediately.
My friends advice me that you have viruses in it and you must delete all the videos, some tell me that perches anti-virus but I have already installed it but it's not registered.
So how can I prevent to restarting the system.
This occurs only on a single folder (Videos) and its sub-folders, and I have other video folders which do not cause this

system restart could be due to your cpu overheating, check that if your system virus clean.

If this occurs only on a single folder, and you have other video folders which do not cause this, then there is a problem with the folder or it's content - this could be caused by a huge variety of things.
What message comes up with the Blue Screen Of Death?
Assuming you have run the virus checker over the folder as well as installed the virus scanner, have you tried a disk check? This could potentially be a failing HDD - I have seen that before.
Does it occur when you view a particular video? Or is it any video from that folder?
Do you get it with any other applications? Could it be a memory problem instead?

Video "viruses" are very, very rare - I have heard they are possible, but I've never seen one myself. But then, I don't trawl the kind of sites where you would be likely to pick up such things...
