How to get deleted record of table in sql server 2008 database in live server.

its it difficult unless you had a back up and you got to be carefull when playing with the live servers.

It may - or may not - be possible.

The first thing to do is: tell your boss. There is a very good chance that he is going to find out anyway, and just trying to hide it does not look good.

Second: How old is your most recent backup? If it isn't too old, then this is a good time to practice your companies disaster recovery procedures.

Third: Redgate may be able to help. http://www.red-gate.com/products/dba/sql-log-rescue/[^] is only for SQL 2000, but it will give you an idea what to look for.


After that: What were you doing playing with the live server? Silly move at the best of times... When you are up, take a backup, and then do them often!
