I have a project titled 'Automated Third Umpire Decision for run-outs in Cricket' in which I have to apply motion detection algorithm for identifying the objects that are moving & accordingly identify bat, ball, stumps, etc. and then compare them on pixel basis to decide whether run-out occurred or not. I am implementing it in MATLAB bcoz it is more familiar to me than C#. So, if you have any solutions or step-by-step algorithm kind of thing or the MATLAB code itself then please try to help me as soon as possible. I have tried finding motion detection algorithm on the net but, the only solution I have got is from code project and it is in C#(which I don't know). So, please help me in my project.

Thank You.

-Regards

I would recommend you starting of with motion detection algorithm that are published in CP. There are many of them and you would not regret. Stop jumping to Matlab itseld, as it is only a tool which will assist you in completing your "Project"!!!
