how to update the path of the upload file

hi!

i'm having the file upload button , one text box ,one save and update button.

first time when i upload the file and click on save button it displaying that path on the text box and its saving in the database also... but when i want to change the file path that time its not updating in the database and its showing the old file path only in the text box....

can any one rectify this error please.....

You can't. The Upload control does not let you know - even by default - about the user's environment, and this includes the original path. It wouldn't be a lot of use to you anyway as you will have no control over where the goes when it is downloaded either...

Have a look at:
Silverlight File Upload[^] - you obviously need to update the information in the database on the second upload :)
